• In 2008 Minskexpo is going to organize 21 International specialized Fairs. The first fair of the year will be ‘BELLEGMASH' the international fair for light industry. This is one of the few fairs organized in CIS countries where the modern scientific researches, equipment and machinery for sewing, textile and footwear industries will be demonstrated. Jointly with ‘Bellegmash' ‘Everything for Sewing Industry', ‘Footwear. Clothes. Textile', ‘Work Wear' the specialized fairs will be organized. The fairs will be held from the 26th till the 29th of February to the address of Pobediteley ave. 14. At the same time ‘Laundry and Dry-cleaning' and ‘Cleanness and Hygiene' the international specialized fairs will be hosted. These are the only fairs in Belarus where the latest technologies and equipment for dry-cleaner's, laundries and professional cleaning are demonstrated. Every day of the fairs will become a meeting point for specialists at the seminars, presentations and fashion-shows. The Best Inspector of the Dry-Cleaner's the professional contest will be held within the frames of ‘Laundry and Dry-cleaning'.
• From the 18th till the 21st of March the exhibition centre at Pobediteley ave. 14 will host ‘Mechanical Engineering - 2008' the international specialized fair for industrial equipment, technologies and components. The industrial production and the real sector of economy used to be and still are a basis for a stable development of the country. Mechanical engineering is a leading branch of the industry and production of the enterprises of mechanical engineering plays a leading role in every sphere of industry. That is why ‘Mechanical Engineering' is a very urgent and actual undertaking for the Republic. We believe that the fair acts as an important market mechanism for business relations development, industrial production stimulation and a favourable investment climate creation.
• From the 25th till the 28th of March the exhibition centre at Pobediteley ave. 14 will become a place for conducting of ‘Welding and Cutting - 2008' the international specialized fair as well as of ‘Corrosion Protection. Coatings' the specialized salon. The achievements in these branches play a significant role for industrial production in Belarus. Within the frames of the fair 2 international symposia, scientific research conferences, ‘State and Ways of Development of Welding in the Republic of Belarus' a republican meeting of the chief welders and specialists of the Ministries and enterprises of Belarus will be held. A traditional contest named ‘Miss Welding - 2008' will be also organized during the fair.
• A development of the market of means of automation, electronic components, electrotechnical products and light industry in Belarus will be demonstrated by domestic and foreign exhibitors at the fairs ‘Automation. Electronics' and ‘Electrotech. Light'. The fairs will be organized from the 1st till the 4th of April at the address Pobediteley ave. 14.

The exposition of the fair consists of alive cut off flowers, arrangement green-stuffs, conifers and ornamental plants. From the 22nd till the 25th of April ‘Belorussian Construction Week' the international fair will be organized there. The fair joints ‘Windows. Doors. Roofs' and ‘Cottage. Interior and Furniture' the specialized salons. A new exhibition project ‘Monolith, Structural Engineering' will widen thematic sectors of ‘Belorussian Construction Week'. Carrying and lifting equipment, mass concrete and formwork will be demonstrated at ‘Monolith. Structural Engineering'. The international fair will be organized for the 9th time and as during previous fairs, this year it will also become a significant project where domestic and foreign companies are taking part. A favourable period of organization, spring is the crest of the season in building industry, a wide range of the most modern materials and architectural elements demonstrated at the fair, interesting business programme have made this fair the most noticeable event in construction industry in our country.
